Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your SaveMate AI account and all associated personal data anytime. There are two ways to do it.

01Delete inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open SaveMate AI and log in.
  2. Tap your profile avatar on the Home screen (top right).
  3. Scroll down to Privacy & data.
  4. Tap “Delete account & all data”.
  5. Confirm the action. Everything is removed immediately.

02Request by email

Email us from your registered email address with the subject “Delete my SaveMate AI account”. We will confirm deletion within 7 working days.

What gets deleted

  • Your account (name, email, hashed password).
  • Your profile (income, salary date, mode, partner name, savings target).
  • All expenses, bills, payment screenshot uploads and AI-detected data.
  • All fixed expenses, goals and Save Challenges.
  • Your entire Ask AI chat history.

Data retention after deletion

  • Erased from our production database within 30 days.
  • Encrypted backup snapshots retained for up to 90 days, then permanently overwritten.
  • We keep only the minimal records that Indian law mandates (for example, financial audit logs where required).

Can't log in?

Write to hello@savemate.in with proof of ownership — your sign-up date and the last device you used. We will help you delete the account securely.
